Inspired to make a work of art to hold my own pens and pencils, these Limited Edition works are great for holding artists paint brushes, scissors, or even dried flowers!

These holders are made from found metal rain gutters which have weathered decades of harsh conditions. Mountains of snow and rivers of rain have washed through these pieces, the patina is natural and unmodified.

Approx. 4" high and 3" in diameter, they are perfect for any table, shelf or work station. Pieces were made by cutting the gutter and grinding away the sharp edges. I then cut 1/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard) into puzzle-like plugs to individually fit into the bottom of each holder. Each plug has been painted to match the patina and coated three times with wood varnish.
